At Emerald Coast Senior Transitions, we believe that providing exceptional downsizing and relocation services requires staying deeply connected to our local healthcare and senior support networks. On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, we had the absolute pleasure of attending the Emerald Coast Senior Coalition Networking Breakfast hosted by the wonderful team at the HCA Florida Northwest Rehabilitation Center in Destin.

Vital Information for Local Families

The event brought together passionate senior care professionals from across our region to exchange ideas and share critical community resources. This month's Community Spotlight featured an insightful presentation from the Trauma Outreach Coordinator at HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital.

Valuable, actionable insights were shared regarding:

  • Senior safety resources and proactive home injury prevention initiatives.

  • Comprehensive caregiver support services available throughout our coastal counties.

  • Community outreach programs designed to keep older adults thriving and independent.

Bringing Insights Back to Our Clients

As a family-owned team helping seniors rightsize and downsize from Navarre to Panama City, home safety is always our top priority. The information shared at this breakfast directly impacts how we evaluate and prepare new homes for our clients—ensuring their new spaces are completely optimized for safety, comfort, and mobility.

We are incredibly grateful to the Emerald Coast Senior Coalition and HCA Florida Northwest Rehabilitation Center for hosting such an impactful, collaborative event. We look forward to continuing to build these vital referral relationships to better serve older adults and their families across the Emerald Coast!
